Based on my comedy bit about growing up in the south and being taught to be proud of southern heritage, only to find out my mother was born in New Jersey. When we told her we learned about "damn yankees" in school, she jumped up and said "I'ma damn Yankee!" The only time I ever heard my mother swear. Where ever you're from, be proud!
